SB01 / Space Bee
The SB01, also known as the Space Bee, was the first synthesizer I designed.
I set out to create the thinnest and first rechargeable analog synthesizer, utilizing a CNC aluminum unibody chassis and full-size custom low-profile keyboard. Every aspect was researched and built from scratch, with care.
The Space Bee also applies everything I have learned about long-lasting and repairable hardware design from my technical background in electronic instrument repair- from the hard-anodized surface finish down to every component and footprint.
It was beyond challenging to design, launch, and scale a flagship instrument from concept through to production line. The lessons learned were valuable, and the groundwork is laid for a new U.S. synth company.
The SB01 is shipping this Summer 2024.

Monolab 1210
The Monolab is the first example of System 1000, an upcoming modular electronic music system.
Conceived as a distillation of subtractive synthesis in its most accessible, portable, and configurable form, the Monolab is a tactile canvas of sound with a clear conceptual mapping that equally invites an educational or performance approach.
